The Stamp It Challenge final was also held on the same day and from over 200 entries, 20 were chosen to join us at Silverstone for the final. The winning design was from Cawthorne Primary School. There was a special surprise for Martin Dempsey from Buick Memorial Primary in Northern Ireland who was given a tour around the circuit in a fully branded Silverstone Ferrari 360 Modena as a thank you for joining us at Silverstone. Everyone taking part also had the opportunity to tour the circuit, see behind the scenes and have a ride around the Silverstone track. Entertainment was provided during the day by Jemlar Ltd who kindly supplied a Lotus simulator and a Batak machine.
We would like to thank our supporters who gave up their time and provided us with prizes for the challenges: Silverstone Circuit; Cube Design Ltd; Ontime Media Ltd; Bletchley Park; Sarah Franklin Racing; Drayton Manor Theme Park; Northants Enterprise Ltd; Postal & Archive Museum.
Dianne Wilson who is the co-founder of the Design Challenge with Darren Giles, will be leaving Silverstone in October and therefore will not be part of next years Challenge but leaves everyone with this message 'I have enjoyed the last 3 years of the Design Challenge and I hope that I leave a strong foundation for Silverstone Circuit to take this to a higher level. I am sure with their support it will go on to be a truly exciting and worthwhile event for you all to take part in and to benefit from. I wish you all every success and hopefully I will be able to come and see you at the final next year'
