What should I do? and when should I do it? (KS3+4 and Post 16)

Sept – Dec:  Visit the website, read the challenge descriptions and make your selection where necessary. Also familiarise yourself with the guidance on project content and timings.

End Jan:       Register your entry on the website.

Feb – April:   Begin the initial thought process about your entry and make decisions about what your product/s will be and how you might plan out your project.

23rd April:     Closing date for all entries to be submitted for Pre Judging which will take place on 30th April. 

April – Mid June:  If you are selected as a finalist, begin work on your project in more detail using the guidance to help you.

24th June:     Workshops to be held at Silverstone for those chosen to attend the final. 

June:     Following the workshops at Silverstone, work on your final preparations back at school/college

13th July:      Finals day!

End Jan:      Register entries

End April:    Post your entries to us here at Silverstone for the 23rd April 

Mid July:     Finals day!

 

Further help

As part of the competition we provide training in business planning, marketing and presentation for all finalists. These workshops are held at Silverstone and are delivered by industry experts in preparation for the finals in July.
We also offer finalists the chance to have contact with the specialist to guide them in their work throughout the process.

It is permitted for schools and colleges to seek their own assistance and use teachers appropriately, however no assistance is permitted from teachers or other experts on the finals day.
