About Us

Silverstone Innovation Centre was originally established as a joint venture in 2005 by the British Racing Drivers Club (BRDC) and the East Midlands Development Agency (EMDA). In 2009 the Centre became wholly owned by BRDC.

The Centre has been designed to foster a community of companies working in the automotive, motorsport and engineering technology sectors to help start-up companies get up and running as smoothly as possible. This is not only through the physical design of the building that offers a range of units between 200 sq ft and 2,000 sq ft, it is by offering flexible terms so there is no long term commitment, and by running regular networking events to encourage networking and collaboration between the companies at the Centre.

The building itself has a state-of-the-art environmental design, so along with the range of professional services available, such as telephone answering in your company name, it gives companies located in the Centre a professional image that is so important in this industry.
